1. Auctions
Auction house action in NY. It’s amazing to watch prices increase by million dollar increments. Tobias Meyer really knows how to play his buyers.
2. Spring
The upcoming foraging season: morels, fiddleheads, and wild leeks. It brings out my inner squirrel.
3. Biennial
The ongoing Toronto Biennale debate. Shit or get off the pot.
4. Beach
Hanlan’s Point beach. It doesn’t feel like Toronto, which is a good thing. It’s also the best vantage point for the air show. Too bad the jets are no longer allowed to hit mach speed.
5. Flying
Porter Airlines. What’s not to like? The airport is within walking distance from my studio. When will we get it together and have a direct link to Pearson?
