Ctrl+Shift at InterAccess
A Strategy Session Series

InterAccess is pleased to introduce Ctrl+Shift - a strategy session series that invites influential members of Toronto’s creative community to propose solutions to urgent challenges that affect the artists living in this city. Structured as a panel discussion, Ctrl+Shift seeks to facilitate productive conversations and actionable strategies that can elicit change in our shared creative landscape. These events are free and welcome to everyone.

The first session of Ctrl+Shift will address the subject of venue displacement for arts organizations in Toronto. Panelists Noa Bronstein, Kate Benedict, Jaclyn Blumas, Alyssa Fearon, and Gary Hall each have a unique relationship to this ongoing challenge and will share their experiences and creative solutions. Shawn Micallef will moderate this event.

About InterAccess
Founded in 1983 as Toronto Community-Videotex, InterAccess is a non-profit gallery, educational facility, production studio, and festival dedicated to emerging practices in art and technology. InterAccess’s mission is to expand the cultural significance of art and technology by fostering and supporting the full cycle of art and artistic practice through education, production, and exhibition. Annually we execute multiple exhibitions, a full curriculum of skill-building and critical theory workshops, and a broad range of discursive events that explore the impact of technology on the social, political and cultural aspects of contemporary life. Our studio space facilitates the circulation of skills and techniques required to produce the work we exhibit in our gallery space.
