Dear Latin American artists and cultural workers of Toronto, WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

The Latin American Arts Centre Collective (LAACC) is conducting a research survey entitled "Latin American artists and professionals in art-related practices" in an effort to better understand the state of contemporary artists of Latin American origin or background living in Toronto. Our goal is to use the data gathered to develop a case for the establishment of an art centre dedicated to Latin American art and artists.

Artists from all disciplines are encouraged to participate (e.g. visual arts, music, dance, film etc.). Cultural workers and other professionals involved in the arts (i.e. curators, agents, organizers etc.) are also encouraged to complete this survey.

Participate in the survey!

About the Latin American Arts Centre Collective (LAACC)

The collective's mission is to establish a physical space where Latin American art and art history can be showcased, interpreted, taught, and practiced.

The collective's vision is that artists can play a pivotal role in the development of community and in a community's development. The LAACC is committed to supporting the advancement of Toronto's Latin American community[,] through the arts and creativity. We foster a culture-led generation of community that is inclusive, prosperous and sustainable.

The Latin American Arts Centre Collective is a signature project of the Latin American Canadian Art Projects (LACAP), a Toronto-based, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the implementation of various cultural art projects, which promote the unity of the Latin American population in Canada.
