Peter Gumpesberger at the University of Toronto Faculty Club
Opening Reception & Sale May 3rd, 6 – 9 pm
Exhibition dates: May 1st – May 28th, 2012
In May the Art Connection Group is pleased to present limited edition photographs by Peter Gumpesberger at the University of Toronto Faculty Club. Peter's collection includes framed and unframed prints from his travels around the world. His images are often reflective and solitary and create a mood of serenity, stillness, reverence for nature, and its power. They can also reflect our human frailty and hopefulness. His limited edition prints have been shown at The Spoke Club, Toronto Image Works and are in private and public collections in North America.
You are invited to an entertaining night of Art & Jazz at the Opening Reception on Thursday, May 3rd, 6 – 9 pm, in the Main Lounge & Pub, University of Toronto Faculty Club, 41 Willcocks St. Toronto M5S 1C7 (east of Spadina, 2 north of College). You may meet the artist, listen to the Ben Hognestad Jazz group, enjoy wine and cheese and dinner in the Pub if you have not had a chance to eat before the show. Dinner is served until 8 pm and non-member prices are waived.
Please note: Peter's larger works will only be on exhibit on May 3rd in the Main Lounge.
Prior to the Opening you may view several of the paintings in the Faculty Club Pub beginning May 1st. The Pub is open Monday to Friday, 8 am. – 10 pm. The exhibition continues in the Pub until May 28th.
