"THE BARN SHRINE" by Scott Eunson & Lubo Brezino

TORONTO OUTDOOR ART EXHIBITION
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS FOR ART NOW

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: APRIL 27TH, 2012 @ 5PM

Now in its second year ART NOW celebrates TOAE's continued support of contemporary art forms. ART NOW is a response project to the intersection of public, private spaces and commercial/non-commercial art practice. ART NOW is a public project activated by TOAE's evolving mandate to accurately reflect the face of contemporary art given the challenges of the commercial art fair context.

TOAE invites interdisciplinary emerging artists working in video, installation, performance and interactive public projects to propose new and innovative artwork that explores current issues and ideas shaping contemporary art. We encourage applications that are site-specific installation, sculpture, video & integrated media, and performance art. With the exception of technology-based artwork, all other works should be suitable for installation outdoors.

TOAE is pleased to announce guest Swapnaa Tamhane, a Toronto-based multi-media artist, and curator will lead the ART NOW selection committee.

The exhibition will take place at Nathan Phillips Square from July 6, 7 and 8, 2012.
