CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

GROUP PRIDE ART EXHIBIT JUNE 8TH - JULY 7TH 2012

Featuring new and returning artists, BEAUTIFULME is a declaration from those who are a product of combatting and surviving self acceptance. A response to the continuous developing interpretations of beauty. A movement illuminating the obliteration of society standards.

A curated art exhibition during Pride Toronto 2012, showcasing Canadian artists, preceded by the 2011 Pride week exhibit Raw Me; an exposure of intimate stories of coming out, self-acceptance and identies of the following featured artists: Sarah Hunter, Francis Luta, Nickolas Hadzis, Fariz Kovalchuk, Donald Vaillancourt, Olena Sullivan and Drasko Bogdanovic.

CALL FOR ARTIST SUBMISSIONS:
Artists are invited to submit art works for BBG and The Center for Integration's Group exhibition BEAUTIFULME. A curated art exhibition during Pride Toronto 2012, showcasing Canadian artists, preceded by the 2011 Pride week exhibit Raw Me. Featuring new and returning artists--those who are a product of combatting and surviving self acceptance. A response to the continuous developing interpretations of beauty. A movement illuminating the obliteration of society standards.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 1, 2012

ARTWORK DELIVERY DATES: Thursday June 7th and Friday June 8th between 11-5pm

EXHIBITION DATES: June 16th - July 7th
