"I'd trade a dozen or so Broadway retreads of Williams' acknowledged masterpieces for this . . . brilliant production." – LA Times

One of Williams' last, elegiac plays is boldly re-imagined by one of the most influential and experimental theatre company in the U.S. This radical – yet textually faithful – interpretation of Williams' autobiographical play seethes with sexual and creative awakening, desire and loneliness in New Orleans. Directed by Elizabeth LeCompte and supported by the company's hallmark layered sound score and inventive use of video, the play is deftly translated to the 21st century.

Opening night post-show reception: Wed., Mar. 28.
Talkshow with Elizabeth LeCompte: Thurs., Mar. 29.

Location: Fleck Dance Theatre, 207 Queens Quay West, Toronto ON
