The Artist Project celebrates its 5th year with another exciting show featuring original works from over 200 carefully juried, independent contemporary artists. Artists from a variety of geographic and creative backgrounds will converge and connect with patrons looking to get a glimpse of tomorrow's Art Stars.

1. UNTAPPED EMERGING ARTISTS COMPETITION & INSTALLATION ALLEY PRESENTED BY MOLSON M
Molson M is excited to unveil the 16 emerging artists that have been selected to participate. One Untapped artist will win the title of Favourite Emerging Artist and receive a free both at the 2013 Show.
2. THE TAKE-12 SONY LOUNGE | NEW!
Five photographers using the SONY A77 Translucent Mirror Camera, which takes 12 shots per second, have developed dynamic works that will be exhibited in this exciting feature. Editions will be available for purchase and visitors can try out this revolutionary camera.
3. THE ENERGY COMPETITION
Every artist in the show was invited to create a piece in their medium based on their interpretation of the theme, ENERGY.
4. ARTISTS-AT-WORK BY SONY | NEW!
With the help of the SONY HDRPJ260V HD Camcorder with Built-in Projector, five artists have documented their artistic practices. The videos will be projected directly from the camera in the form of an installation and visitors will receive a behind-the-scenes look at the artists' studios and will discover their inspirations and techniques.
5. ART CHATS
Visitors can listen to a variety of engaging and inspiring seminars hosted by leading art professionals. This year's line-up includes author Joshua Knelman on "The Art Detectives"; Canadian Art Editor, Richard Rhodes and his interview with a panel of artists; and Artist Paul Butler on "The Social Side: Getting Involved in the Art World".
