Call For Art Submissions
CNIB is looking for submissions from Emerging, Mid-Career and Established Artists for a juried exhibit and art auction at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.
The theme of the work will be based on nature, and can include landscapes, botanical, animal and/or architecture found in nature.
CNIB is accepting all forms of work and the artists understand that the work will be donated. The pieces selected will be hung and/or displayed at the Art Gallery of Hamilton during CNIB's Visions Dinner and Art Auction on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
Artists' names and bios will be included in the event program and other related media.
Last year, CNIB had more than 20 pieces donated and then purchased by those attending the event.
All the funds raised directly support CNIB services and programs that are used by the more than 4,000 blind and partially-sighted children, young adults and seniors in Hamilton and surrounding communities.
CNIB is also accepting sculptural pieces as centerpieces for the event.
Please forward your biography/CV, two images of your work, and a 250-word paragraph about how your artwork relates to the nature theme to: email@example.com.
Deadline is Monday, March 26, 2012 at 4 p.m.
