The Award
Established in 2004 by the artist, the Joseph Plaskett Award provides $25,000 to help fund an emerging Canadian painter who is an MFA Candidate to live and create artwork in Europe for one year.

Deadline and Eligibility
Application dossier must reach the Plaskett Foundation at the office of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts (RCA) by April 5, 2012. The recipient of the award will be announced in Spring 2012 in St John's, Newfoundland in conjunction with the RCA Annual General Assembly.
