The Parkdale Film + Video Showcase is an annual summer celebration of the artists and audiences who live and work Parkdale, featuring pay-what-you-can screenings, installations, performances, and workshops held throughout this eclectic Toronto neighbourhood.
Artist fees paid, short works preferred.
Artists based in Parkdale are welcome to submit film or video work to our programs for the 14th Annual Showcase:
*REvisit: Showcasing Parkdale film and video shorts at the Revue Cinema
*Screening Under the Stars: Outdoor family-friendly shorts at the Fuller Avenue Parkette
Submissions of completed works and works in progress will be accepted. Finished work must be available by late May.
Not in Parkdale? Not a problem! Submissions welcome from ALL artists and activists for a special screening:
*REact: Solidarity Sunday
For our special Solidarity Sunday matinee screening, we welcome reflections on how the nature of your neighbourhood (Parkdale or otherwise) is changing with the new government and calls for austerity. Whether you have an overwhelming sense of cataclysmal doom, or can see the silver lining on this ark cloud, this is an opportunity to artistically share your vision of the city.

-Quicktime files accepted
-Specify your preferred exhibition format (16mm, DigiBeta, etc.)
-Include a short summary/artist statement and a still image with your submission
