Clare Scott-Taggart – Crow – Steel – 72" x 48" x 10"

Located next to the Gallery and the Inn, Oeno's Sculpture Garden at Huff Estates is home to some forty thousand perennials, several exquisite rose gardens, sand dune paths and groves of maples, celtis, and poplars. Sharing the Garden and accentuating its natural beauty, is an exciting array of outdoor sculptures done in metal, stone, glass, and wood by accomplished Canadian artists.

The inaugural exhibition features over twenty artists including new work by Clare Scott-Taggart who has exhibited in Toronto, New England, Atlanta, Chicago and Washington. The sculptures Crow and Monkey act as a three dimensional re-telling of some of Aesop's fables.

Also featured are Ladies Size 8 and r Evolution by renowned Canadian artist, Ruth Abernethy whose work is held in many public collections including the Royal Ontario Museum, the CBC, the National Portrait Collection and the official residences of the Governor General, as well as collections in Italy, Australia, England and France.

Internationally recognized sculptor Shyane Dark is showing Tangle Wood and two versions of Full Tilt. Dark's work has been publically exhibited across Canada and the US, and at the Olympics in Athens. He has received many awards for his evocative sculptures which highlight the contrast between the urban and natural worlds.

David James' Portal and Caught by the Moon anchor two front sections of the landscape. James' work is in the permanent collection of the Musée des Beaux-arts in Montreal and his pieces have been acquired for Canadian and international private and corporate collections.

The garden is also animated by Mark Clark's steel and cement kinetic sculptures and Saskatchewan artist Victor Cicansky's The Planters which is situated in the herb garden. The herb garden provides some of the produce used by the Winery's restaurant.
