2011 CONTACT Photography festival is bigger and better than ever at Pikto. This May, Pikto is happy to host workshops taught by three top photographers including World Press Award Winner Carlos Cazalis, IV Network photographer Donald Weber and Naomi Harris, finalist for the 2001 W.Eugene Smith Grant in Humanistic Photography.
Pikto kicks off the CONTACT season on May 4 with the opening of three shows throughout the Distillery District including CONTACT feature show Carlos Cazalis Urban Shadows at the Pikto Gallery, Johan Hallberg-Campbel’s Grand Bruit at Archeo restaurant and Jesse Louttit’s Place to Call Home at the Boiler House restaurant. In addition, an outdoor show throughout the Distillery will be displayed and live twitter hashtag #PiktoCONTACT will be displayed live at the Pikto Gallery.
Join us for what will be an evening of inspiration and fun and what is sure to be a highlight of the CONTACT 2011 festival.
